Author of My Current Condition is a retrospective of “truth” in childhood memory and identity and its current impact. The installation contains personal experiences and is evidence of conflicting memories to be read and decoded. Illustrations of automatic writing throughout the books’ spines, covers, and pages convey my silenced voice. The relationship between language and found objects configured as cairns speak as cyphers for memories and emotions.
